Terms of Service

Last updated: November 1, 2026. These terms apply to appliance repair services provided by Optimus Appliance & HVAC Inc. (“Optimus Appliance Repair”, “we”) in San Diego County, California. CA appliance repair dealer #A48661.

Booking

Online bookings are requests. We confirm your arrival window by text or phone. No payment is required to book.

Service call & diagnostic

A $89.95 service call applies once our technician arrives and diagnoses your appliance. It is paid at the visit. If you approve the repair within 10 days of the diagnostic, the $89.95 is credited toward the repair. Estimates are valid for 10 days.

Repair pricing

Standard repair labor starts at $189 plus parts. The exact price depends on the appliance, its size and installation, the parts required and whether more than one technician is needed. Your technician provides the price before any work begins, and no work is done without your approval.

Cancellation

You may cancel free of charge until your technician is on the way; we notify you by text when the technician is dispatched. If the technician has arrived and performed the diagnostic, the service call is due.

Payment & unpaid balances

Payment is due upon completion of the service. Unpaid balances are handled by our billing department and may be referred to a collection agency.

Warranty

We warrant our repairs for 30 days (parts and labor) and sealed-system repairs for 90 days from the repair date. The warranty covers the repaired component and our workmanship; it does not cover unrelated failures, customer-supplied parts, misuse or damage after the repair.

Travel fee & service area

We serve San Diego County. For addresses outside our core area a travel fee may apply; we confirm it before the visit.

Residential service

Our services are for residential appliances. Commercial equipment is serviced only by prior agreement.
